'When the Great Pine came into view, the young stallion slowed his pace down to an easy trot. His legs had started to ache halfway through his journey, but Illucid had pushed through the stinging and kept going. He refused to let himself slow down. It was mostly due to the fact that he was excited. His heart was pounding violently against his ribs - not just from running, but from the eagerness to meet the witch he'd heard so much about. He hadn't even thought about how nervous he would be when he got there. As he closed in on the pine, he noticed that he was not going to be alone. There were other horses there - loners, he assumed. Suddenly the young horse stopped, head raised, blue eyes staring intently down at the small assembled group. He wanted to make a bigger entrance, make himself known. He wanted to shake off the jitters and butterflies flying through his stomach, make himself a little more comfortable with an element he knew all too well - trouble.
The idea came to him as he crept closer, making sure not to be seen. The clumsy stallion managed well, only tripping once, and ducking away quickly to avoid being seen. He noticed a little wagon near the tree. He immediately assumed it was going to be empty and would give him great leverage in a situation like this. So, Illucid circled around before closing in on the wagon. His plan was to jump into the wagon, giving him an extra boost of height, and then leap into the middle of the group of horses, creating a grand entrance. Illucid gave a toss of his head and backed up a few steps before lunging forward, galloping straight at the wagon and then pushing off on his hind end...'
I can't wait to draw the next part. It's going to be so awkwardddd. poor illucid XD
