Lioness is, as her name may suggest, a gentle soul to her young and a ferocious creature when provoked. She is very smart and knows how beautiful she is. She was given the nickname Lio, but she also responds to Nessa – the original nickname given to her. She doesn’t accept Nessie all too often unless it’s part of a flirting game. Otherwise, the tall dun mare is very friendly and enjoys making new friends. However, she is very demanding and needs all sorts of attention and ridiculous requests. For the few that are close to her, including any of her young, she will protect them with her life. She is very loyal and gets very vicious when any of them are in trouble. She isn’t afraid to stand up for what she thinks is right and will put someone back into their place. While often times coming across as needy and probably a bit of an attention whore, once she really gets to know you, she blossoms. Lio is a sweetheart to those close to her, and as stated earlier, will do everything in her power to protect them. That being said, she is the type who enjoys having a large crowd gathered around her and will make as many friends as she can. She sees a great deal of advantage through it. Overall, Lio can be summed up as a very pretty mare with a large group of friends and a slightly vicious side when angered.

|| Training and Tack ||

Lio is very well behaved around humans and often gives them the impression of being a complete sweetheart that will get along with whomever is around. She is very respectful of their space and will even follow on command without a lead. She loves being bathed and getting groomed, although the buzzing sound of the clippers spooks her, making clipping a little difficult. Lio also founders easily and cannot be turned out for very long. She is easy to catch, though, and will willingly walk up to someone if they offer her a treat. She currently does not have a set of dragon tack made for her, but she excels in dressage and show jumping, preferring to show off her skill instead of racing around a cross country field for the best time – it’s precision and image.

Lioness is currently closed for breeding. She will most likely not have any more foals unless a breeding is offered. Please do not ask.
